The last few days anchored at West Bay, New Providence, Bahamas (near Nassau) have been overcast with some spectacular thunder storms. We have been doing boat projects and studying charts & weather. There is a good weather net on SSB 4045 at 0630 run by Chris Parker. Conditions are somewhat unsettled making it hard to forcast.
The water is warm (80F) and clear making for some nice swimming. We could see our anchor down 10 ft just swimming on the surface with no mask.
We are now underway to the central Exhumas via the Decca Channel - named after the defunct radio navigation system whose transmitter ruins are located there. We hope to be at Big Majors Spot/Staniel Cay by tonight.
The lure is in the water and we're trolling for tuna.
